Head Of The Charles Regatta

Another one of my favorite fall traditions is Head of the Charles Regatta. I must admit that I hardly ever pay attention to any of the actual races but just all the excitement buzzing around the river is so much fun! I always thought it would have been fun to row (except for the early morning practices)!

It was a beautiful day and even though I got their late in the afternoon there was still a lot going on. My only disappointment was not being able to find fried dough for the 2nd year in a row. What the heck?!

To read my past posts from Head Of The Charles go here for 2014 and here for 2013!

  1. That would be fun to attend a rowing competition. They don't do that around Central Wisconsin but it would be fun to watch, I think. :)

  2. Fun! I've never been to a rowing competition. Looks like it was the perfect day for it!

  3. That looks like so much fun! I want to go to the Head of the Charles every year but something always comes up--this year I was away! Grab me when you go next year!
