Head Of The Charles Regatta - Celebrating 50 Years

This weekend was the 50th year of the Head Of The Charles Regatta (#HOCR50)!  I went on Saturday while Boston was experiencing a day in the 70s which was such a nice treat.  I didn't get any fried dough (I couldn't find any) but I had a great time anyway!

Would you believe I almost got knocked out by a boat again!  This time it was not my fault.  You'll have to read my post from last year to understand the reference.  Plus I share a lot more facts about the event which you might enjoy reading!

Enjoy a few photos from Saturday below. . .

Unfortunately I think that might be the last day in the 70s until 2015.  Not happy about it but I guess all good things come to an end.  Glad I got to spend some time outside b/c we all know once the winter temps start I'll be hiding out in my warm bed!

I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend.  I did a few other fun things that I'll be sharing on the blog this week!

  1. Love the photos! Looks gorgeous.

  2. What a lovely weekend! The pictures are awesome!!

  3. Beautiful pictures!! Sounds like it was a fun weekend.

  4. Saturday was a perfect day to watch, I was there too! The fried dough was located on the Memorial Drive side. Close to JFK street. The smell was very tempting.

  5. I have so much respect for rowers. Looks like it was a great event!

  6. Such gorgeous scenery. Temperatures are definitely dropping but that means pretty snow next!

Thanks for linking up with MMG :)
