Have you heard of the #IceBucketChallenge?  If you haven't you must not watch any TV!  It has gone viral to #StrikeOutALS.  It is especially popular in the greater Boston area since the person who started it, Pete Frates graduated from Boston College and still lives in the area.  To learn more about Pete go here.

Pete was diagnosed in 2012.  He is now paralyzed in a wheelchair, has a feeding tube and cannot talk.  His wife married him after his diagnosis and is now pregnant with their first child.  God Bless him and his family.

I was challenged by my sister-in-law Jenn.  So today I accepted her challenge and participated along with my adorable nieces!  We are in our bathing suits since we were heading to the pool afterwards.  Anyone who knows me knows I don't like cold water (I hardly ever even go in the pool and it is heated)!  So doing this challenge was no easy task but obviously much easier than Pete's life living with ALS.

I challenge Leeann, Christina, Amy, Stephanie and Marla!  Ladies you have 24 hours to accept the #IceBucketChallenge or make a donation to ALS!
