How (NOT) To Take A Jumping Photo

Do you ever see those "jumping photos" that people post on social media and think, "Wow I could do that?!"  Well it may look easier than it actually is. . . don't get me wrong the jumping wasn't the issue.

I could do that just fine even if everyone on the beach probably thought I was crazy.  The photographer on the other hand (no offense Stacy) had to get the timing just right and that is harder than it looks.  See for yourself. . .

After spending a few days laying on the beach in Monterosso I got the brilliant idea that I NEEDED a "jumping photo" on the beach.  When else would I be in such a beautiful location?  I needed to show my happiness.

I had to jump, kick my feet up, throw my arms up ALL while making sure my private parts stayed covered.  All Stacy had to do was snap a photo.  You can see how it went!  Haha!

You can see we got close several times.  Then on our eight attempt we finally got it.  Lucky number eight.  Yes I did jump up in the air eight times on the beach while everyone was watching me.  I'm sure they were thinking, "Look at that crazy American. . ."

Eh, When in Rome Cinque Terre. . .

To read about my time at the beach in Monterosso go here and to read about Old Town go here.  And when I say "read about" I really mean see lots of pretty photos! Enjoy!

  1. I feel your struggle. It takes me forever to get a good jumping picture. On top of that my photographer is usually my mom or husband and neither of them are particularly skilled with capturing jumping pictures. It's a recipe for ridiculousness and lots of laughter.

  9. Haha! I have actually wondered how people can look good in a picture while jumping in the air. You ended up with a really good one though.

  10. A professional excavator may have to be contacted if the area your sky bouncer trampoline will be used has too much dirt to be moved with a shovel. Using the equipment an excavator has at his disposal will be more logical, as it is tiring to move more than a small amount of dirt with a shovel.

  11. As per the varied culture, most of the wedding is preceded by ceremonies. Make sure that you keep this in mind when talking to your wedding photographer. Tobiah Tayo
