Five On Friday

TGIF! I worked a full 5 days this week after having 2 of last week so that was tough! But cheers to another 3 days this weekend in honor of Marathon Monday!  This weekend is jam packed with plenty of fun including Easter and then the Boston Marathon so I'll have plenty to report next week.  In the meantime follow along on Instagram so see photos of what I'm up to!

One.
I have a problem.  When I get to the airport too early (on the way to DC) I shop and drink. . . When I get to the airport too late (way home from DC) I have to run to my gate shoeless and sweaty.  You won't think with all the traveling I do I would figure out a happy medium right!?  At least those earrings are adorable! Oh and I had to get a drink to toast my parents a Happy 45th Wedding Anniversary (via text)!

Two.
Rachel's dogs are the sweetest!  Malcolm was my buddy all weekend and climbed into my lap every chance he got!  I had never really been around Westies and I'm now a big fan.  Ollie is a mix and I swear part lizard.  That little guy never stopped kissing/licking!  Haha!

Three.
Hospital selfie in my johnny for my annual/routine MRI this week.  Having MS means having a lot of MRIs.  You get use to them!  No changes which is good news!  All is stable in my MS World.  Migraines/vertigo have stopped.  Fatigue continues.

Four.
I saw this shirt in the Newseum gift shop while in DC and was SO tempted to buy it.  Lol!

Five.
This is my brother's car.  On fire.  OMG!  Thankfully is is ok.  His car is not.  When my mom text messaged me this photo on Wed I couldn't believe it!  So scary!!!!

P.S. (since this is 5 on Friday I can't have a #6) I'm one of the featured bloggers on Blog Better Boston's Hub Links this week.  The theme is "Boston Strong."  Check it out!

  7. Glad your brother is OK! That seems super scary. Did he get out of the car before it caught on fire or was it a scramble to get out?

MRI's are never fun but I'm glad to hear your results are stable.

I had my 1st EKG ever yesterday and that was an odd test I don't want to do again. (I'm OK. Results were normal. I'd fainted on a hot MBTA subway car last Monday so my Dr. just wanted to be sure that wasn't a sign of anything worse than low blood sugar.)
