Bubbles, Brunch, Birthday and Boston Fundraiser

Another weekend come and gone. . . why do they always go by so fast!?  Mine weekend was very busy and filled with fun things.  Take a look!

Friday night started out with champagne and cupcakes.  Yes please!

Mario Russo Salon on Newbury Street invited a few bloggers over for a 60s inspired hair style.

Tatiana styled  my hair and I think she did a fabulous job.  I loved the way it looked from the back especially as I'm not a big fan of having all my hair pulled off my face (I blame that big forehead) - but I was willing to try anything and I'm glad I did.

It was so nice of Georgina and Andrae (who is a colorist at the salon) to organize this event for us.  I had such a nice time getting to know the other bloggers who were there.

Georgina, Me, Courtney, Elissa, Emily

On Saturday I had another blogger get together!  This time organized by the lovely ladies of Blog and Tweet Boston.  We were invited to brunch at Bar 10 in the Westin Copley.  I had never been to this restaurant (never even heard of it actually) and I was excited to try out a new place.  Full recap/review coming this week on the blog!

On Sunday (aka Cinco de Mayo) I put on my festive colors and was off to a happening party. . .

to celebrate this 4 year old's birthday!  Carter was very excited and seemed to have a blast all afternoon!!
(I told him next time he has his birthday party on a "holiday" such as Cinco de Mayo he must have margaritas)!

Oh and this is Carter's back yard!  Pretty nice right!?  The ducks come to visit daily and I was told to feed them oatmeal b/c it is better for them then bread.  Who knew?!

After the party I ran home for a quick partial outfit change.  Love army green and hot pink together!

I went to The Paint Bar on Newbury Street for their grand opening/One Fund fundraiser.  They had food, drinks, and a ton of raffle items.  I'm still waiting for my phone to ring to tell me I won one of the amazing prizes!!!

Thanks to Nir Landau for taking these fab photos!

I also bought one of these shirts for $20 and all money goes to The One Fund.  In case you can't see it in this pic on the skyline it says "Are you Boston Strong?"  I love it!  Other colors available too.  Get yours here.

I just read on The Paint Bar Facebook page that they raised $5,000 at this event.  Amazing!!!

So that was my weekend in a nutshell.  How was yours?
