What I Bought {In Ireland}

I hope you enjoyed reading all about my recent Ireland vacation.  In case you missed it you should read Part 1, Part 2 and Part 3 to learn about everything we did while there.

Today I'm going to share with you what I bought. . . I actually did not buy too much. . . mainly because I have been several times and bought some stuff each time I've gone and because I was trying not to spend too much money on things I really didn't need (yes I realize the things I about to show you probably fall into that category of things I don't need but whatever I was on vacation and did need to treat myself)!

 Accessorize is such a great store.  If I had one here in Boston it would be trouble for my bank account.  The fact that I walked out of there w/ just two items really is a miracle b/c I actually wanted about ten other things - especially a bag and a clutch purse.

I settled for these adorable ballet flats.  You can't really tell hot cute they are from my phone picture but take my word for it.  Oh and the color is coral which you can't really tell from the pic.  I can't wait to wear them!!

Oh and these earrings. . . gorgeous!  I've really been into big earrings lately and I just fell in love w/ these.

I bought this cow painting at the Kilkenny Shop in Dublin.  I love cows and thought it was so simple and cute.  Plus it was painted by an Irish artist and will always remind me of Ireland.  I haven't decided where I'm going to hang it yet.  Right now I have it sitting on a mini-easel on my kitchen bar and it looks really nice.

This is my pitcher from Kerry Crafted Glass.  I love it!  The colors are so pretty and it knowing that it is handmade makes it that much more special.  I loved visiting the studio and meeting the glass blower.  My aunt bought this as a gift for me and I'm glad she did!  Thanks Cathy!

I found this scarf/wrap and knew it would look great with my orange dress (the one that I wore in the Fashion Show then bought).  The gold tones of the scarf will look nice with the dress and I had planned on buying something anyways so this was a good find!  Now I just need to find gold heels and a little purse and I'll be all set for an outfit for Katie's wedding!

I got this adorable Christmas ornament and necklace at a little shop in Bunratty Folk Park.  The artist was in the shop and she makes everything by hand.  I love supporting local artists and buying things that are unique.  My mom and aunt both bought things in this shop too so we helped the local economy and that artist! Ha!

My nieces love Peppa Pig who is British and according to my sis-in-law you can't find stuff in the USA so I was happy to find plenty of stuff in Ireland.  I'm sure Peyton and Ella will enjoy all this stuff.  I can't wait to give it to them when I see them next.

Just for fun I thought I would also share the random pics that were on my iPhone.  I guess I only take pics w/ my phone when it includes desserts or drinks!  Ha!  I definitely had some yummy desserts and drinks while in Ireland.  Oh and that sheep. . . no clue but figure it looked like a good photo opportunity!

So for real now that is it for Ireland.  I'm sure you have seen enough!

  1. It is my all time dream to go to Ireland. I love all your finds! Especially the painting and pitcher.

  2. I haven't seen enough yet! I LOVE Ireland. Can't wait to read more about your trip. All of your purchases are super cute. I never purchase anything while traveling because I am too stingy. I think I need to change that haha

  3. I love the stuff you bought, especially the cow painting! How cute! :)

  4. Peppa Pig- my son is obsessed! So fun for your nieces!
