I don't know about you but I'm sure glad that Friday is here.  It has been a wonderful birthday week but I am exhausted from so many nights out!

I'm guest posting on Katie's blog, Keep Calm and Carry On so feel free to check me out over there too! For any of her readers that are visiting me for the first time - WELCOME!  So glad to have you stopping by!

Last night I finally saw The Hunger Games!  I REALLY liked it!  I of course liked the book more due to the deeper character development and background stories but I think the movie did a great job.  It was a bit darker/scarier than I expected.  I was sitting tense in my seat through the whole thing.  I was also surprised at how quickly the 2 hours and 20 minutes went by.  It kept my attention the whole time.  Oh and when those crazy "dogs" came out I totally jumped.  Ha!  I think the casting was great too.  I really loved Katniss.  Have you seen it?  What do you think?  I can't believe we have to wait until Nov 2013 to see Catching Fire on the big screen.  I hope to finish reading Mockingjay this weekend.

The Boston MS Walk is this Sunday!  I'm so excited.  I can't believe it is already here.  The Bean Team will be walking for the 4th year in a row.  This year (so far) we have raised $7,152 and I have raised $2,601!  Amazing right!?  I'm so proud of my team and impressed that even now after fundraising for several years we are still able to bring in so much money for MS.  It is awesome.

The weather forecast for Sunday is still a little iffy.  Please say a prayer that we have a dry day!  It is likely to be in the low to mid 50s and cloudy. . . no rain please!!

I picked up our green team shirts the other day and they look great.  You'll have to check back on Monday to see what they look like.  No sneak peaks this time.

Today is the last day to enter my giveaway for a FREE Orange Blossom fruit arrangement from Edible Arrangements.  Please leave a comment on this post to enter.  {Reminder that the fruit can only be shipping to MA or southern NH}

I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend!

  1. Glad you liked the Hunger Games. I haven't gotten into the books or movie yet. I might try and read the books eventually. :)

    I'll pray for no rain for you! Good luck, go team go! :)

    I would enter your giveaway but you are the only person I know in that area to have it shipped to. I guess I could have it sent to you? Would that work?

    Happy Friday!!

  2. I can't wait to hear about how the walk goes!!! <3
