The Paint Bar With Stacy

Stacy is here!!!!!  She arrived yesterday afternoon and I picked her up at the airport after work.  We grabbed a quick bite to eat before heading to The Paint Bar for a night of painting and drinking wine.  Stacy has wanted to go to The Paint Bar ever since I told her about it last year!  She now says that she wants to start something like it in London.  Haha.  Maybe she'll have a career change!

We painted the "Irish Countryside" and the artist was inspired to do this painting by some pictures I emailed her from my Ireland vacations.  It was fun to paint.  When it came time to make the sheep I got a little nervous.  They are literally just dots and from far away they look good but close up they don't look like anything.  Ha!  Two of Stacy's former co-workers met us there which was nice for her.  They got to catch up while painting.  My sister-in-law, Jenn (aka The Paint Bar addict) came with one of her co-workers too!  It was a sold out event!

Here is a step-by-step progression of the painting.  I always think it is interesting to see how it comes together.  I'm by no means an artist but I'd say my painting came out pretty good.  Not sure where I'll hang it (for now it will go with the others that aren't hanging either)!
