The Oscars - My Predictions

Does anyone else agree that Oscar is kind of scary looking?
I had a goal to see all 10 of the Best Picture nominees which are:

Black Swan
The Fighter
The King's Speech
The Social Network
Toy Story 3
The Kids' Are Alright
True Grit
Inception
127 Hours
Winter's Bone

I only ended up seeing 6 (the first 6 on this list).  I wanted to see 127 Hours on Friday night but wasn't feeling well.  Oh well.  I think I saw the best of the movies anyways.

If I wasn't so sick I would "review" each of the movies I saw but that just isn't going to happen right now.

Best Movie
Movie I Think Will Win - The King's Speech
Movie I Want To Win - The Fighter

Best Actor
Who I Think Will Win - Colin Firth
Who I Want to Win - Colin Firth

Best Actress
Who I Think Will Win - Natalie Portman
Who I Want To Win - Natalie Portman

Supporting Actor
Who I Think Will Win - Christian Bale
Who I Want To Win - Christian Bale

Supporting Actress
Who I Think Will Win - Melissa Leo
Who I Want To Win- Amy Adams

Now I just hope I can stay awake to watch the entire program!  Looking forward to the Red Carpet in a little while.

What do you think?  Agree or disagree with my predictions??

  5. Observers: NBC
Breeders Cup 2018 Live Stream Sports Group's inclusion of the Preakness Stakes highlights has Bob Costas, a 28-time Emmy Award champ, and Mike Tirico; experts Randy Moss and Jerry Bailey, the Hall of Fame move and two-time Preakness Stakes victor; handicapper Eddie Olczyk; columnists Donna Brothers, Britney Eurton, Carolyn Manno, Laffit Pincay, III and Kenny Rice; and race guest Larry Collmus.

  6. For all the discussion of there being no neighborhood stayers, we do have 15 Group I races keep running at 2400m or more prominent in Australia and New Zealand. Drawing on these races, and making Melbourne Cup 2018 Live a definitive Grand Final for them all, could enable some nearby stories to permeate during that time to the primary Tuesday in November.

Vote exceptions for the Sydney Cup as well as The Metropolitan, and additionally the Auckland Cup, would be a decent begin. Past that, the Brisbane Cup, Perth Cup and Adelaide Cup are Group II races. Should they accomplish an update in future, they're further conceivable outcomes.

After some time, this could have a honest to goodness effect to the Cup lead-up – a specific section gives associations a guide, and the story starts. Similarly as it has with Kings Will Dream this year, whose Autumn Mornington Cup win promptly put him on the way to the Caulfield Cup.

Those stressed over quality can comfort themselves that all eventual ongoing Group I champs. Contrast it with the last few in the Cup each year. It's not just as the race's status would be being referred to.

At long last, making all the more convincing excitement needn't be the assignment of simply the Melbourne Cup. Dashing in Australia has unmistakably changed, and run hustling – frequently challenged by steeds hustled by huge syndicates of proprietors – is plainly the new staple.

Be that as it may, for reasons unknown, Racing Victoria appears to be resolved to avoid this pattern. In reporting major prizemoney increments for this season, the majority of the real lifts were given to staying races. Amazingly, there wasn't a dollar increment for any of the Lightning Stakes, Oakleigh Plate, Newmarket Handicap, William Reid Stakes, Moir Stakes, Manikato Stakes or Darley Classic.

"Lloyd Williams and Aiden (sic) O'Brien will be content with that", joked one punter on Twitter.
