Fundraising Fridays

When I ask people to donate they often ask me what the money is used for.  Great question!  If you are going to make a donation to any organization you SHOULD know what they are doing with the money.  Fortunately for me (since I didn't really know exactly how to answer this question) the National MS Society did it for me!  So read on and you will know where the money you donate to me is going. . .

HOW DOLLARS ARE USED

The National MS Society’s mission is to mobilize people and resources to drive research for a cure and to address the challenge of everyone affected by MS. In our area, that means providing the services and programs needed by the more than 19,000 people living with MS in Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and Vermont.
These offerings include educational programs that address the physical, social and financial effects of living with multiple sclerosis as well as direct services that address the specific needs of individuals.  MS stops people from moving -- we exist to make sure it doesn’t.

UPDATE: As of 11:00 PM I have raised $4,337!  HOLY COW!!!!  AMAZING!!!  I have the most generous and supportive people in my life and I don't take it for granted for a second!
